Open Arts Minnesota’s New Offshoot Theatre to present public performance on Monday, June 22nd.

Offshoot Theatre, Open Arts Minnesota’s new theatre experience for actors in Aktion Club Theatre of Mankato provides participants the opportunity to learn, develop and deepen their theatrical skills. Offshoot Theatre brings in community members who specialize in theatre to share experiences and techniques in improvisation, memorization of dialogue, auditioning and more.

Offshoot Theatre participants will offer a public performance on Monday, June 22nd from 7-8 PM at Emy Frentz in Mankato and will showcase techniques that have been learned during the Offshoot Theatre season. The event is free and open to the public. ASL will be provided.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
